Never been to the US but this reminds me of the oppressive feel of some of the shots from a film called 'No Country For Old Men' which, I believe, was set in Texas.

The tones are excellent and I particularly like the slight 'sheen' on the road which really lifts the shot. Nice piece of work....Paul.
