I posted another photo in the forum and called it my first 4x5 photo. And technically it was the first print, but this is one I took and processed before the other. Either way, this is one of very few successes in my first 60 films in the format.
What is giving you trouble? Feel free to pm me anytime with questions on the 4x5. Sometimes it's easier to trouble shoot 1 on 1 rather than in a thread or by simply reading. You'll catch up to your medium format and 35mm work before you know it. =)
Hey, thanks, Shawn. That's a very nice offer. I may take you up on that. The problems have been many, mostly having to do with development. I'm stubborn against tray developing and not for any good reason, so my daylight forays have taken experimentation to get nailed down. Also I'm clumsy with the camera movements. And my shutter is slow (currently getting a CLA). It's all starting to come together, though. I'm more confident, now. I just need practice.
Just back from a trip and saw this. I don't usually tray develop either... An accurate shutter will certainly help. Let me know if you need anything. Good luck!
