Winter Silence 1

Taken in bad winter weather; the snow and sky were of almost the same dull white. Contrast boosted in darkroom; I like the graphic black and white here, almost without any midtones. What do you think?

Clack, this just oozes with solitude. Would make a great Album cover..oops they call the CD's now don't they. Great shot!

wow...what else can I say.

Composing for 6X6 is always difficult, proportions are critical to create the necessary tension. You composition here is perfect. Space is everything and you have used that space so wonderfully that nothing is lost. A marvelous image that absolutely conveys the beautiful, stark isolation of winter. Bravo!

stunning, stunning, stunning - I love it. It has a hint of the michael kenna about it.
