Winter - Scottish Borders

Winter - Scottish Borders

I took this shot recently on a winter's day in Scotland. Low/no visibility and freezing. It was tricky at times to see where the snow and the sky met and keep my fingers from turning blue. This is my first serious attempt at salt printing and it took a few goes before I got this. I have not toned it and probably would prefer a slightly darker tone although the soft brown does have an appeal. I don't know if I bleached it out too much in the wash/fix or whether I should have done something better in the exposure stage but I am quite pleased nevertheless.
