Wow, what a dramatic shot.

My wife's MacBook went on the blitz this past winter, but still under warranty. I waited on 57th street, in the snow, for over an hour until it was my turn to see the Mac technician. The hotdog stand took advantage of poor suckers like me, and must have made a bundle. I set up the little XA for a timed exposure (hands shaking with cold) at about f4 or so. ISO 1600 but the lights were bright. The negative wasn't great, and I had to enhance contrast a bit with the Opticfilm 120. Thanks for all the support for this shot.

Fantastic shot. I moved from Southern California in a cirquitous route and on the first New Years Day that I was here, we grilled steaks in a snow storm and video taped it. Sent it to my friends in Newport Beach to show them how real men celebrate New Years. They damned near died. Never seen a snow storm in their collective lives. Thanks for the memory infusion, Don

Very well done! Could you get the same contrast in the darkroom? I'm just curious.
