As the title suggests, this is my first attempt at Cyanotype printing. I really think I am going to enjoy this POP work, to me, it is to printing what the large format is to shooting. It's hands on and takes dedication to perfect.
This image was numbered B101 which indicates it was the one hundered and first image I made with my Speed Graphic, ca. 1980.
I put together a light source using (6) F17T8/BLB units from WalMart ($9.96 ea.), scrap wood and a power bar from the "stock on hand". The exposure was 10 minutes, approx 5" from the light source.
I took some snap shots of the "beta" version of the light unit I will share if anyone is interested. I am sure it is the first in a number of "improved" generations I will create.
