Ouch, this looks cold, and it's not even winter yet. Great dramatic print.

All the best,
Daniel

what a great print. I just got a 10x Neutral Density, any suggestions John, thanks

Awesome, John! Love that dark ominous looking sky over the white tones in the water and the beach. This just clicks.

Thank you everybody for the kind words. Regarding suggestions to use a 10x neutral density filter...just remember reciprocity. In this instance I used Tri-X 320 and took a incident meter reading....which called for a 1 minute exposure @ f/22. I rate my Tri-X @ 250 when using fa-1027. Because of reciprocity I took an exposure for 3 minutes and another at 5 minutes.... and repeated these exposures for the entire roll of film. Since the exposures are long you don't know what kind of effects the clouds are going to have so I normally take quite a few shots of the same scene to get one decent one... and also to account for the scratches and other goof up's I seem to be plagued with when processing film.

Regards,
John
