I am not quite sure how you interpret or present basics (image, light and form) in this shot but as an abstract I think this is very good and to me is your strongest post to date. From a crit perspective I feel a degree of sharpness somewhere as a focal point would strengthen.
I get the feeling that this is a selective enlargement from part of a negative. Is this so?
Also would you describe how you feel that the basics are represented !I would be interested in your view.
Ivo, I think this might be one of those prints which is better really (and I mean really big) rather like the sort used as backdrops for displays. I like the concept but don't feel we are seeing it at it's best here.

Dont get me wrong I love the image. I really enjoy abstracts. My question was guided to you as I wondered if you can see form in abstraction. Isn't abstraction supposed to relive or decieve form.
Tony mentioned that this would be good extremely large and I agree, but I also get the feeling from the image that it is already enlarged. Hence my question regarding selective enlargements. As you have mentioned that it is almost full frame I would be very interested to hear about your technique used and your thought process while making the image.
Cheers
It is an image of an old factory. I have made several detail images to get the old and in state of decay state of being.
To obtain this feeling, I use Tmax 3200 to get that anti trix grain. The goal is to get a unconfortable feeling together with a feeling men like to see what's next.
