Windmill 1 cyanotype

Wow, that's excellent contrast for cyanotype. Have you made an enlarged negative, or did you contact the medium format neg?

Hi,
First I contacted the neg onto an ortho 4x5 neg.
Next step I enlarged the contact onto a 8x10 ortho.
This one is than used.

My older ones where much to dark, I learned that how softer the neg is, the better the cyanotype works.

First I used a glass rod, but often there where parts where there was more emulsion than on other parts. I now used a brush and this works much better.
