Wonderful, you can see the history oozing out of those stones.

The people lift this far beyond a record of the cathedral. But, if they weren't there, the design would be enough to make it a fine photographs.

In this composition the two quite different parts - the cathedral and the path on the street pointing towards the pedestrians - join beautifully!
