Cool! One question - is there more detail in the lower left that could have come out, or is it just a vertical plate there?
 
Thanks Tony. It was easy to mentally add the area where the winch cable disappears - I like making the mind do the work sometimes - but couldnt' tell as well in the corner. Food for thought for me, as I've never thought about it before.
 
I don't know why gears (at least for me) are so damn photogenic. I think it is their ability to capture light and produce shadow from virtually a 360 degree arc depending on the camera position. They also provide a very tactile feel in the print. Nice image.
