Fascinating work!!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - and this is a process I've gotta try to imitate.
These images have me hooked - I close my eyes - and still can see them!!
The plants need to make intimate contact with the paper. put a piece of towel on the base which is a piece of masonite. Paper on that, then the plant, which I may manipulate to have the flowers look right. For the Dasies, I bent the stems so the flowers rested flat against the paper. The whole thing is covered with glass and clamped with light spring clamps. Expose in bright light but not direct sun - I use the North side of the house. When the paper looks good and black, take to the darkroom and fix and wash.
I find this to be a fun way to do some photography when I'm busy with other things. Imitation is fine, as each one is unique.
Thanks for the information. I have done a few Lumen prints before in a contact frame, just flat items, plants etc,, but I love the way your images recede into a blur.
