Wife contre-jour

Wife contre-jour

Recently I had an interesting conversation with my co-worker about digital vs film dynamic range. He owes expensive Canon body with bunch of even more expensive lenses.. And he cound not believe that it is possible to take picture like this with a cheap film camera.. He was sure I'm kidding.. .. I guess soon we will have one more film lover here.. Light source - window - literally was behind my wife's back with the sun on the "right side of the horizon"..

It is negative scan. Developed in laboratory in Ukraine, scanned at home with Epson V500 / custom film holder. Retouched in photoshop - dust removal and very lite unsharp mask.. I do not print any more at home.. Takes a lot of time/effort with average results. Negative scan and laboratory / digital printing works better for me..
