wibw dishes

Getting more comfortable with the 4x5 still...the transition from the Holga images continues and I'm trying to do more than test materials, little by little.

I saw the front side of the dishes from the freeway and really couldn't get to a spot to shoot the picture I first envisioned. When I made my way to where the dishes are, this looked better to me anyway.

It looks like they are all peering into the sky, patiently waiting for their leader to come and save them.
Nice shot.

This has a very pristine and elegant look. From the rear, the dishes look like flowers seeking the sun. Well done.

VERY cool! What a surreal scene! Nice!

Split grade during enlargement, Alex. I've always been a bit unclear if I'm supposed to put taking or enlarging filtration there.

While I'm commenting, I want to mention that washed out area on the right side is an artifact of the deficiencies of my scanner.

Very nice control of contrast, it makes me pine for the good old days of the '80s UFO craze and the despearate search for outer space life forms!
