White Water on the Boyne

A nice area along the river Boyne which I photographed in February this year.

Really nice contrasts and lines and stuff going on here. I like the framing stuff (like the twigs, rocks, etc) which contextualize the main focus, which is that cool wave in the middle. A purely abstract crop of that juicy central strip (panoramic aspect ratio) would also look fantastic - just above the shore and just below the twig coming in from the side.

Your composition works well though.
 
I agree - the fixed 'solid' points of the trees and rock seem to anchor the image and accentuate the rushing water - Ilove it!

Your exposure has added an extra impact to your picture, but I like walter23's suggestion of that crop. It might be worth trying it.
