White Pine

A really beutiful picture. Reminds me of a Japanese print. Why other members have'nt commented on this picture does supprise me. If I had to offer a criticism, I would have moved the camera slightly to the right so that you accomodate more of the tree, But hey, it's still a great picture and I for one would just love to have it hanging on my wall. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice shot. I like the clouds/mist in the valley.

I'm not an expert and I don't know what your exposure time was (You said you used a cable release)...but would a longer exposure have gotten a wee bit more shadow deatail?? It seem early enough that a longer exposure wouldn't blow out too many highlights...

just a thought...
