This is very effective and a perfect environment for using the X-Pan. Nice photo. I've used the same procedure with the few X-Pan negatives that I have. I scanned them as two 35 mm frames and then used photomerge in Photoshop CS5.
Not a criticism, but a legitimate question - doesn't all that Photoshop work make them Hybrid photos? I have had this confusion over how to label my own postings that involved dodging, burning, etc.
@pbromaghin This photo was printed in my darkroom using a 12 x 16 sheet of paper. As such when it came to scanning the my photo using an A4 size scanner it required me to scan it in 2 goes. Photomerge is an option you can use in Phtoshop to join 2 such scans. I for one do not consider that a Hybrid process. Everything that appears in these galleries have been scanned either as negatives or prints and as such are not true representations of the original work but merely a facsimile of it.
