From some recent street photography. It never fails to interest me that you often don't see what you've got until you're looking at it a few days/weeks later on a light table or contact sheet.
Being a people watcher, street scenes are fun and interesting. On top of that they are more interesting and valuable as time goes by, because they become glimpses into the past. I wouldn't call this a great one, but it's fun and interesting, due to the dressed up nature of the little girls, the one in white, more so, and the casual nature of everyone else.
Thanks - that's actually my thoughts exactly on photography, and street photography in particular. I think a lot of its value or interest isn't often apparent until much later. I liked the balance and composition of this shot, and the white dress was just odd enough to lend it interest...but I think it's one of those images that if you wait 20 years it will be more interesting still.

I always tell my portraits clients roughly the same thing. It's not about today, it's about in a few years, because we are the "stoppers of time". And photography is the only thing able to record and save the past. That has massive value.
