really stunning.....I think that people using large format (me included) try to get everything pin sharp and this is a great example where other attributes of LF can help the photographer make the image ..... well conceived, well done
Wow! I can't believe the responses here! I was disappointed in being forced to crop it (fealt a bit of a fraud), but from now on I will give it more consideration. Thankyou everyone. Rgds, Kal
I'm getting used to the idea. For a long time I I used 35mm and because of the quality issues of cropping (street photography) I taught myself to compose the final image in the viewfinder and basically never cropped. Now I am using LF and getting used to the idea that cropping has minimal impact on the image, and more importantly, can serve to deliver the original vision. The feeling I described above is a personal one...more about how I have got mentally used to working...and with Polaroid 55 ofcourse you lose the frame ;-)) Sorry if I offended anyone, it was not the intention, more of a personal reflection and learning process through this site.
