Leaves at top of frame are not distracting at all. Is this a stronger composition when turned upside down? Other thing I notice is a small white area in the bottom part of the print, left of center. Might want to burn that in. Nice print.
I agree with skillian that the leaves on top are not distracting, and the small white area needs to be burned in. skillian and I have had a few discussions about flipping prints to make the composition stronger, but I believe in this case, the print is at it's best the way you presented it here. Looks like you paid attention to the bottom corners. Great print.
as much as i hate to agree with Jason_PSU , i like the composition as is. i flipped it in PS and find placing the darker part of the photograph at the top results in an unbalanced image. i would definatley burn in the white area as skillian suggested. great textures and tones. doc
Living in the tropics, i see leaves and leaves and more leaves. i never get tired of them. i think you did an absolutely wonderful job with this, creating a very graphic image with clean design and interesting texture. i really like the white whites and the black blacks. The symmetry is appealing but not static since the leaves in the back provide a nice assymetrical break. kat~
