West Window

West Window

This was taken on a very foggy morning. The light was so flat, that I was able to expose for detail way inside the house. A very unusual situation.

I almost did not take this photo. I wasn't at all certain about the potential results. This was the only exposure, the last on the roll. It is now one of my favorites!

it's interesting - I've come back to this one a few times - trying to figure out whether or not I prefer the bottom (stone portion) to be cropped off or not...! I'm just not sure! Anyway - you have a very strong graphic/formal sense to your work. I'd ALMOST go so far as to say that it's really graphic design with a 'photographic infill' - not a bad thing - just a way of describing the work. I like this I think. I'd like to see a print maybe.
