The left 1/3 of the print seems to be blown out and the right 2/3 seems a little too dark. Try reprinting and give more exposure (burn-in) the right portion and hold back the rest.

I noticed this but it was one of my first prints. before I learned to dodge and burn. I want to go back in redo it. The negative was like this too, what would cause that, any idea?

Looks to me like lens flare. Use a hood.

I agree with John's remarks. Also ..I think the print could have been a bit sharper. Or was it the scan? Otherwise ...I think you have an eye for a good picture.
