What process are you using for enlarging the neg? I have been using the "Less Is More" article at unblinkingeye.com and have had great results. I really recommend doing 8x10 instead of 5x7. I have no less of detail going from 6x4.5 to 8x10, and the 8x10 negatives are truly awesome to behold.
Deckled Edge (not sure what your given name is), I really love this image and is a perfect match for the pt/pd process. My only hope is that you'll either post a larger copy of it here, email me a larger copy, or best of all: agree to a trade
Jeremy, an e-mail w/ a 1MB image is on the way.
Will, My usual format is 11x14, so I know the value of a large negative, but this is a rather intimate view, and I enlarged to this size for a particular application. My method is along the lines of the Less is More article. Original Tmax negs were processed for silver, but contrast has been jacked in the enlarged negatives for UV processes. After this trial run, all interpositives will be on PL25 4x5 for enlargement to whatever the image sharpness will hold.
