Looking for grain? This film is just incredible. Dektol, 1 gm per liter. 30 seconds initial agitation, then 25 minutes stand. Drain and fix.

Jim are you using the Dektol and 25 min stand to reduce contrast.I'm not looking for grian.

Thanks John. Mike, no contrast is normal. I'm just doing it that way because I've got a lot of Dektol sitting around and I'm lazy and cheap. I had some moviefilm Super XX in the can with it, and it got pretty hot compared to the plus X. At a gram per liter, I use it for a batch and throw it away.

So you take a gram of powder out of the Dektol bag and mix that in a liter water? Seems an incredibly small amount of developer powder.

Beautiful tonality on this neg

HA! thats is good a reason as any.I have a neg of a dark room with a brite window, trying to think of ways to develope it, tell I saw your stone picture developed in Dektol ,and thought I'll stone the window with Dektol.

Yes, yes. Usual disclaimor: YMMV Try it on something you can afford to lose.
