Word has it from the forums that SFX is going the way of the dinosaur,a shame as it has interesting qualities in its own right.If you have some for future use and intend to try it again the only. way to get a real semi-infrared look with this film is by using a opaque filter(#89b-different deignations with different companies).although as your image shows with a #25 or 29 red filter you can get some lightening of grasses,etc.
Thank Jim. I have found that I really like this film as it has a subtle contrasted difference to normal film, but is not so extreme as infra red. This roll of film was shot on a very hot sunny day and all of the exposures give the same contrast and texture as this pic. I am currently puting another roll through its paces on different types of subjects - not just landscapes. It would be a pity if this film went the way of the dinosaur as I have found that I like it's subtle contrast qualities.
