I really like this seascape, it shows a full range of tones from deep black to pure white, I like the movement in the foreground water, and the black beach gives a nice base to the composition, very well done.
I love the 2 sets of contrast - firstly the dark rocks and pebbles v the white of the waves and secondly the static rocks and pebbles v the fluid movement of the waves
love the shot but maybe to much foreground and background. May be cropping some of the sky and foreground will give the image more power and intensify the center aspect of the shot.
I too love the shot and the sharpness within it, but like michael above I would be inclined to crop out half the sky from the top, which I feel would lend extra impact to the rock and wave break.
The cropping idea may work, problem is I tend to "see square" these days. Some days with a 6x9 (or other non-square format) I have to try hard to use the "width"
That's one of the joys of photography - we be in front of the same scene, but see it very differently.
