In the 15th and 16th century, a defensive wall had been built around the city of Sneek.
The Waterpoort or Hoogendster Pijp is a gate in the defensive wall that connects the city to the waterways.
In either B&W or full color, the images are absolutely superb with color and contrast fidelity (although the aspect ratio is better with the B&W image).
