In the 15th and 16th century, a defensive wall had been built around the city of Sneek.
The Waterpoort or Hoogendster Pijp is a gate in the defensive wall that connects the city to the waterways.

With the defensive wall, nobody could 'sneak' in!

In either B&W or full color, the images are absolutely superb with color and contrast fidelity (although the aspect ratio is better with the B&W image). These are clean images without a random albatross hanging around where it should not be. Nothing detracts from this edifying experience, Macfred. - David Lyga
