The fixes raise the contrast 2 or three notches. I see this image as having white foam over near black rapids surrounded by med or even light grey trees. Easy to do -- if you used a #2 contrast filter try at least a 3 if not 3 1/2. You might find the banks and trees might require a little different time than the water
