You have a way of making hard lines look good, Fred. 'Reminds me of your canal & industrials, except this ads the greenery & water. 'Hope you had fun while you were at it.
Nice scene, macfred. i like both the countryside and brick of the house, plus the canal barge. I spent a week in Koblenz once, and stayed at Diehl's Gasthaus, which was located right where the Mosel and Rhine meet. Barge traffic all day, and some through the night. It was a beautiful spot. Good ol' Mrs. Diehl was a bit sour but could be a hoot. Breakfast was unspeakably good every morning. Only suggestion is that you rename this Watching the River Run, reminiscent of the old Loggins and Messina tune - one of my favorites (next to House on Pooh Corner - your Maria may like this one).
@michaelorr : Thank you for your kind comment and sharing your 'Koblenz´- memories ...
I've been there several times - I stayed in the youth hostel 'Ehrenbreitstein'. I have to listen the Loggins and Messina tune later this day ...
Greetings from Maria !
I looked this up on internet this morning- yeah, house! Second photo helps understand the setting, but certainly not necessary to enjoy the sweet gallery photograph. I had to look this up on internet - i became more intrigued. Glad you added this to comments!
