The subject of this shot would fit in with John Voss's (Jovo) project to record the quickly disappearing agricultural character of areas of Orange County, NY. The farm is run down in this photo. It is completely gone now.

It looks like the flat sky just before the clouds would bunch and the storm whips loose. I would not change it.

Nice one, Neal. I waited till I got home to comment on this because I\'m not thrilled with my laptop monitor at work. The sky\'s just fine as it is and its value is an excellent contrast to the bright wood and the grasses. Were you able to get detailed shots from closer up as well? I love this Orange county area...fine work with this!

I like what you have done. You might for your own satisfaction try one with the sky burnt in, you may even like it but I personally feel that you have the print right on as it is. I simply think it is a really neat image!
