One of the things that I find striking about this scene is the flat, even tone of the sky. Not the usual dramatic clouds or even a gradation from top to bottom. It looks like someone dropped a seamless behind it. I had to burn the top corners just to compensate for an otherwise unnoticable uneveness in my enlarger's illumination.
I'm wondering if anyone thinks that the picture would be improved by burning a natural looking grade, darkening it towards the top?
