Walton Lake Fence

At the bottom of the hill we live on is Walton Lake. Gasoline motor craft aren't permitted here, but there are lots of fisherman's aluminum boats that use little electric motors, and oars to get to the fishies. This, however, is a barrier from a public access where the fishing boats are stored to one owner's postage stamp size "waterfront". I think it's beautiful which must make me seem incredibly odd. ;)

I love this john, and your positioning of the camera to make the second pole just touch the scum at the top is just perfect. Nice work. Shawn

Thanks, Uhner, and Shawn. But, I gotta tell ya, the "scum" is actually the last of the ice that was thick enough to support skaters and legions of fisherman who'd sit in the middle of the damn lake that's 40 feet deep or more with a heater and ice fish. No Darwin Awards so far this year though...maybe these guys actually know what they're doing. ??

I really "see' this print John.... the spatial relevance of the fencing and post ... the repeating shapes and lines ... the angles ... I enjoy this ...

With a little imagination we could be looking at gill nets for fishermen.

It is nicely composed and presented. I, too, like it.
