The Walnut Street Bridge in Harrisburg, PA. It was partially destroyed by ice on the Susquehanna River following the blizzard of 1996. This is the span that remains open to foot traffic from City Island on the river to the city. Notice the capital building dome in the left center.
Brian,
The perspective is .....wild! I feel like I'm being drawn right across the bridge. Was the position of the capital building dome on purpose?
Good job!
Brad, thanks! Actually I didn't notice the capital building until after development. Had the building been cut of by a beam or wire I don't think the image would be as effective.
Cool stuff, Brian. When were you there? I was out that way during January. Haven't gotten everything printed yet but did manage one contact print of the same bridge.

I usually make it down once a year. If you're in the area we should get together next time around.
Shawn, I was just up there yesterday (2-18-08). I only live 25 min. from Harrisburg. I checked out your shot. Very nice! Looks like you were shooting from the east bank. I would certainly be up for getting together sometime. Brad is also in the area. Maybe we could all three get together. Would be fun!
