A place I've often stopped to admire, and knew from years past would be a likely spot to photograph in late afternoon autumn light. ( I have often thought of an observation I read in a column by David Vestal that went something like this: Why listen to radio? Because the images are better. Why photograph in black and white? Because the colors are better. )

And, by Vestal's paraphrase - that's why I don't own a TV. I get enough moving pictures in my head while listening to music or just sounds. Imagination is a precious thing.
