The greens and greys look very natural but some of the red bricks on what is clearly a weathered wall, look slightly oversaturated BUT I wasn't there to compare the actual wall with the print.
So, Mark, if you were to compare the print to the wall are the colours authentic in comparison with the authenticity of the other colours?
Even it is slightly warm overall then this is probably no bad thing as a bias in terms of what most people regard as looking right
The colours are pretty good, of course computer monitors aren't good to judge.
The wall is a Suffolk red brick which is quite crumbly orange/red, also the photo was taken early in the morning (well 9am ish) with the yellowish sun so probably I've printed it a little cyan blue to make the door neutral.
I have found though the Ektar film makes the reds/blues a little saturated, I have a shot of a Telephone box shot at the same time and it seems brighter than I remember. I like the film for most subjects even skin tones are OK which for a film with saturated reds is pretty good.
