Wall texture

The thumbnail image looked (to me, even in the face of the title) so much like a photograph of an abstract painting; I saw a tree in evening gloom.

It made me start to think about scale in what we see and how we perceive it, and about how many of us in “modern, advanced” society spend so much of our time seeing our world through tiny, pocketable screens, and how that affects what we really take in and process as our “reality”.

Ok, I’ll stop rambling now. I like the photograph.
