I nearly lost my camera in the river shooting this one.

To my eyes, this is good shot with a well balanced compostion. I love the texture in the water and wonder if printing the picture darker overall might retain the balance, but make more of the water feature without being quite so dominant as it appears in this rendition.
Also think that the highlight below the Rock on LHS would benefit from some burning, so that the eye is brought back into the picture where lightest part is then the water flowing from behind rocks into the foreground mking a good link from the trees, rocks and water.

It is a dangerous business, shooting near water. I too have had an accident or two.

This was just a quick "work" print with no dodging/burning. When I print it on fiber I will give your suggestions a try.
