Scratched like hell from the scanner because the film is so curly, but that doesn't explain the crazy dreamy effect i got. I think the film must not be tight/flat against the film plain in the camera. At f16, this should be within DOF, but it's not. Looks like a clarity brought to a pin hole. I like it.

I agree with you. The 'distortion', or whatever it is, adds something to them. If anything it almost looks like a large format tilted DOF.
 
I am a sucker for hot rod photos! :smile: Whatever is happening with your camera, it is a cool effect.
