I took my mother on a tour of the WW1 battlefields in Flanders and the Somme in France.

This is Viller Bretonneux in France. This is where I found my great great uncle.

Very interesting and striking and phallic. Which is also strangely interesting that being phallic, there are so may dead males buried there. Non vital, non phallic males, buried under a phallic symbol. Not sure what it says, perhaps the loss of manhood. So we erect a phallic symbol to grieve that. Nicely done though.
