From this view, I am most certain that this bridge was never used by a railroad. Maybe for VERY light steam engines, and at VERY low speed. I get the feeling that this little gem has only been used for highway traffic.
While this shot is interesting, I still prefer the first one for the strong composition.
The piers are not as old as the bridge, nor are the approaches. Regardless of whether this bridge was ever a railroad bridge, it has been moved into this location. This is not the original location for this bridge.
