Nice location, nice composition...but it's soft. There's no d.o.f. This type of image calls for sharpness not mushiness.

Morry Katz - Lethbridge AB.

morry - agree on your commnets. The conversion to an 800 pixel image blocked up a lot of the shadow detail and overall detail; the 4x5 neg is sharp. I still have much to learn about scanning, but would rather spend my time with real analog photography. I was hoping to post this to the postcard gallery, but it ended up here.

Dave: Yes, the spring camera show for $100 graphic (now with newly fitted tripod bushing; PIA to replace that part).

Presto is the name on the film box.. I have not been abe to find much about it. I learned to develop it by experimentation on a sheet. I think it came out late 80's, and may have been an import, though the majority of the box packaging is in English. It still has a low fb+f but has a bit of a green cast, ala pyro, even though it is souped in hc-110b.
