This is a striking image to say the least. I really like how the out of focus areas leads the eye to the centre of the picture.

Hi Wolfgang, this is lovely.... it happens that i made my first kallitype last night in my humble lab...It looked great too.....I would be happy to post it next to yours but the image disappeared in the fixer?!???? I was too wounded to try again.... .... seriously ...

Wolfgang I just read your instruction on the proper use of fixer... I mistakenly used hypam fixer and poof!!!! Can't wait to head back to my lab this p.m. THanks lots...

Ah, I am not the fastest. Hypam is rather acidic, try to make it "neutral".
