Like the effect. The tones seem to suit this subject.
Two points though:-
Would have like to see the prow on the left hand gondola, if you could have squezed it in, to balance the one on the right.
Were you using a slow shutter speed because it looks a little unsharp on my monitor?
Great to see you posting again. I never get tired of images of these Gondolas. I love the fact that you have gone for a lith print. It suits them perfectly. At first i thought there was too much foreground but have since changed my mind as you would lose the reflections in the water. I am sure the scan does the print no justice.

John, I agree about the composition and losing the left hand side gondola, but unfortunately it is not on the negative. But I do have other negatives of these gondolas. I think the lack of sharpness is due to the scan. I have found that this lith print doesn't scan very well.

Stoo, thanks. Yes, I wouldn't like to lose the reflections of the poles. They are an essential element of this image.
