Continuing with my Darkroom Print sessions I finished a ORWO NP22 film in my 1962 ROLLEICORD Vb and processed in Liquid PROMICROL 1+9 for 9 mins and negs were a little under-developed as the developer HAS gone a 'Bit Yellow' !
Yes - the print does not show the extreme grain of most of your others, which I take to be due to old paper or film. How much sharpening do you do when scanning the print? I can't quite decide for myself what is best. A scanned print is not the best representation of the actual print, in any case.
I 'sharpen' in FastStone Image Viewer with 'Unsharp Mask' 70 Amount and 0.6 Radius -- not sure if these are correct settings -- works with NEG or SLIDE scans. I have scanned darkroom PRINTS at 600 resolution as I was told it does not need much more.
Actually these PRINT SCANS are just like the 'Actual Print'
OK - just trying to get a feel for the right process. I'll have to look more thoroughly into the process. My tendency is to oversharpen, if I am not paying attention.
