V8 shift knob

Jalopy journal has a page of ecclectic accessory shift knobs, so rather than taking a snap with the Nikon I did one with 8X10 and Pinkham lens. This was made with the lens I describe at the page<a href="http://www.apug.org/forums/forum44/147121-pinkham-tale.html?highlight=" here.</a>

Whether the lens or the lensman, this has a feel to the rendering I don't see much and like very much. Being unapologetically in love w/ sharp & contrast, the feel or tone this is different and engaging. What's in focus is all there w/ all detail, without any harshness. Yet even the elements outside focus seem to retain alot of detail as they go soft. Most of the softer renderings & even those w/ 'selective' focus seem too close to the Holga look for my tastes - the softer version of digital over-bake. 'Made me stroll through your gallery. Your vehicle shots are wonderful. 'Nuff said there. 'Makes me wish you posted more.
