Thank you Andrew- That was definitely on my mind while making this shot. Luckily it was my first roll in 10 years - I was testing my Mamiya 6 and it was wonderful stormy day !

Beautifully done! Less is more.
I was thinking the same thing, very simple compasition and still very pleasing to look at.I would hope there's no sunami on the way.

Thanks mike c - the picture was taken back in September, but I am new to APUG and finally decided to post it.

Impressive shot, but I have to ask did you use PS to draw a line along the horizon? It's incredibly sharp.

love the play of light on the water - well done

and welcome aboard from another S Fl APUGer

No I didn't use PS for that. Only to add a black strip around the frame I used PS to remove some dust but that's it. I wouldn't know how to do that either yes, it is really sharp and at a higher resolution is even more.. It is a TMAX film... at f/22

Thanks ishutterthethought.

Thanks semeuse ! Actually it is the waves slightly breaking at two different locations that leave white "softness" on the film. We should exchange ideas about shooting locations at some point.
