Love the textures and mix of light.I feel like I'm right there, looking at it.
I tried to find out what a Rolleiflex R4A is, but Mr. Google didn't come back with anything. I have a couple of Rollei's... so I'm surprised.
Love seeing someone use D23. What film did you use?
I'm only aware of the factory designations beginning with "K", so maybe it's the K.4A, which would be the Automat MX with a 75/3.5 Tessar or Xenar lens?
Agreed this is a beautiful shot. Those Zeiss and Schneider lenses on the Rolleis are something special. I'm sure the photographer had something to do with it as well ...
Thanks for the comments. Correct K4A Automat my bad. I can never remember those details; took 2 years the get the i and e right in Rolleiflex. Schneider lens BTW . I use TriX in D23 1:0 replenished for last many years after trying a multitude of combinations I didn't settle on it because it was the best in all circumstances but in most and the most forgiving on highlight exposure, longevity, and ease of mixing; a particular combination of needs. When I mix a new liter (twice a year) I add 200 ml of the old batch.
