As neat and pristine and full of potential as graph paper. And I love graph paper. The layered perpendiculars, parallels, and stark shadows I find compelling.
I second the above, except for the love of graph paper, it's ok. There is just so much going on here that it makes me dizzy. The repeating layers, patterns, and textures are just lovely. I like the square format for this image as well. Well done. -Doug
That took some care in alignment. It just shows how much we rely on cues for spatial interpretation. We know the fence is at the front, we know the brick wall is at the back, but inferring the depth from the wall we have to infer from the shadow is not so easy.
