Love twisted old trees. The in and out of focus sections are very interesting. I could see this as a giant wall mural.

Yes, this would look cool printed huge. Very neat angle and the focus (and lack thereof) really works.

Thanks. I find that my response to the distorted images with black areas rather than details when printed and hung comes closest to my response in the moment compared to the "straight" images. I need a more potent dose perhaps. I try to make both images: distorted with Hawkeye, and not distorted with Rolllei but wasn't thinking of that as a project per se. Although the comparisons (side by side) may be a fruitful endeavor... But this was the last weekend before the leaves spring out. Looking forward to next winter (not really).
