There's no danger of me being accused of expertise in portrature, but dang, these are good. You mentioned he came to you. I'd say he got lucky & really found the right guy to do the work.
Things is really interesting from the furniture with the landscape, with the effect of the lens making in like a day dream of being else where. Then the contrast of the white suite with the rest of the image. Very nicely done.
