This is 3 of the last 4 done w/ the Moersch sepia. Each has been wonderful. There's a smooth, natural look to the effect. Gritty, certainly, but even, consistent. Composition is peaceful. 'Sure love seeing each of your posts.
Has a distinctive brooding atmosphere, and is an excellent mix of shapes and texture. Almost abstract. A refreshing change from much of the landscape photography I see - ie. look at this lovely view folks...
I'm glad that you like the picture,frankly,I "doubted".I'm glad I was wrong.I think that the toning is very important,equally as well as other segments in photography.This time I have gone up to photograph the city, but I turned away.(the city was on the right side).
I was very happy when I discovered "gritty combo",400 asa(135) with rodinal,but I am open to all other combinations.But obviously I can't get away from some old habits.Thanks to all.
